One of my favorite series, so it seems only appropriate for me to favorite the picture, too. I like your Ptolemy/Bartimaeus design - he looks very neat despite not actually having much clothing - and I think you captured Bartimaeus' character very well.

Oh, I think it's lovely. I had a severe love-hate relationship with that trilogy. Bartimaeus was such a boss. Nathan was such a douche. At least in the second book, which I incedentally loathed.
But enough about that.
The gold on his necklace looks like beaten gold, and as always you are the master of clothing folds. <3

I feel like you're not really supposed to like Nathan, or at least not until the ending of the last book and certainly not in the 2nd. I feel like him being a miserable and arrogant little dickhole in the second book set him up really well for redemption. I thought he had a great character arc and because we know his origins and how he got wrapped up in this world, he's not entirely without sympathy. Hahaha. But yeah, Bartimaeus has to be one of my favorite literary characters of all time. Snarky, witty, bad-motherfucker. Such a brilliantly written character. <3
