Ok, so strangely enough this wasn't one of the several I've already started. I don't know why I thought this should come before some of the... err... more intense stuff I've already started.Charcoal... wanted to bring out the contrast, but of course, some of the detail is gone. And uhhh it's so warm, everything feels damp and I just couldn't keep drawing - hence the loss of detail in some areas. I may go back and fix it some other time.
Haven't been drawing for a few years, so you'll have to forgive some of the laziness in spots... will get better, promise.

It really is hard. All you can work with is the mandibles/mouth and the eyes mostly, but I think you did a fantastic job there. Please keep it up.

Oh my word. I'm in amazement. The tenderness of their embrace is in such contrast with the severity of Garrus' expression. Very possessive. Very intense. I would love to be Shepard right about now.

That's seriously awesome. I love his expression, reminds me of an eagle or some other predatory bird. I only wish her skin looked a tad smoother, as to emphasize the contrast between her soft/his rough skin. Other than that, I love this picture

Agreed... the contrast between his body and Shepard's smoothness has sort of been my focus. I have plans to go back and touch this one up since I really kind of rushed through it.

Oddly enough, the expression he has in the image looks slightly angrier than in the original drawing - where he looks rather sad.
That's what I get for using a hand-me-down scanner.
