I've been working on huge canvases lately wow. Original is over 3500 in width, so I scaled it down to 2000 for uploading sake. Then it's scaled ever further on the deviation page.
Just a quickie because it's Lane (the not angel)'s birthday! He easily became one of my fav OCs, as you can see by the spam art of him recently ehehe...
And the girl, named Angel, is LovelyAgeha 's character. <3 She actually wanted to see this during the making, so I covered Angel with clouds ahaha, as you can see here: sta.sh/01r85xw7ui66

I really like the background. You're so good at that effect...which I can't even describe. 
I love his eyes and the way they look at you. I don't know if it's supposed to look this way, but it looks really sweet, and almost pleading to me. I love it.
Their hair - both of theirs - is so detailed. I like the shading of his shirt and wings.
This is really good, especially for two to three hours!

I love hearing how people interpret my work! I'd say that a lot of my pieces can be interpreted in different ways depending on the person. C: Like, I see the 'pleading' look you're talking about! Since Lane's a bird, the clouds automatically seem to have something to do with him. Lots of pollution in the skies would be pretty bad for him, I suppose. xD
