❀ Personality: Rima seems to have a preference of staying alone, but she isn't one to push people away. If you were to sit next to her, she'd stay silent, but only because she isn't sure of what to say. She rarely looks at a person's face for more than a few seconds unless from a distance. She seems soft spoken and introverted, but in reality, she can be very defensive and even get offended. Having a wide range of vocabulary, Rima utilizes it, especially when she's angry or frustrated. When problems arise, she usually blames herself for the outcome even if it was someone else.

All in all, Rima can be difficult to talk to, and even harder to befriend. Even if someone manages to befriend her, she's far from bubbly, but she'll smile more often and talk more. She absolutely hates showing her abilities to other people, but if she willingly shows you, you can consider yourself a friend.

❀ Bio: Rima has little memories from before age 10. She was born of a witch named Azia, who soon after Rima's birth, was killed by an unknown entity. Rima was only a few months old at the time, so with no real memories of her mother, she never once felt sad about her death.

Rima grew up moving from orphanage to orphanage. She hardly remembers this, as it's such a blur. Her hair was a deep brown, eyes to match, and she showed no signs of having any abilities whatsoever. Considering this and the fact that Azia seemed incapable of having children, it was thought that Rima was a child Azia had stolen.

When she was 6, her hair began growing in purple. At the same time, other children in the orphanages claimed that she was talking to the shadows on the walls. Since Rima was known to be distant of the other children, the caretakers just assumed that she had made imaginary friends. They had no idea how wrong they were.

By the time she was 9, her hair was completely purple. The caretakers of the orphanages weren't sure what to think of it. Rima had almost completely isolated herself from everybody else. She sat in a corner of one of the bedrooms, only leaving when she had to. As this progressed, the caretakers were afraid that she had been possessed by a demon. It turned out to be false.

The next year, aged 10, Rima began sneaking out at night. She wasn't completely sure why she did it, so whenever asked, she wouldn't respond. During these walks, she found herself seeming to talk to the shadows. She didn't know that she had abilities. She never questioned why she was so attracted to the dark.

"...Huh? What are you doing out here? You shouldn't play when it's dark, y'know."

Her first human encounter was when she was 11. He was a 9 year old elemental, two years younger than she was, named Erifee. Their relationship started with him warning her about the night. Though she primarily ignored him, she ended up bumping into him more and more often.

Eventually, he asked her if she had powers. She told him she didn't, but he claimed that she did. Through him, she realized that she was able to manipulate shadows. Everything... started to make sense. They grew up together, Rima always viewing Erifee as a younger brother. Rima eventually moved out of the orphanage and into his home with his parents.

His Mom was also an elemental, his dad a human. Erifee was what he called a 'broken' elemental in which he could barely do magic. Growing up next to him, she met her first other friends through him, such as Lane and Daiyn (SOME OF YOU WILL REMEMBER ERIFEE AND DAIYN AHHH). She became less introverted. As they all grew up together, life was beginning to change.

Then came the day Erifee dropped out of school, Lane grew distant, and Daiyn went to college. Rima, for the first time in forever, felt alone again.

Erifee finally pushed her to enroll in MMA. With his arguments that he wasn't helping her anymore and that she needed to be around actually people ("No, Rei, shadows don't count."), she was pushed into MMA, Erifee promising that they would stay in contact.

❀ Powers: In a literal sense, Rima has the ability of being able to control and manipulate shadows at will. She doesn't have a shadow of her own, so she can often be seen 'stealing' other people's. As she doesn't have the best control on her abilities, once they're out of range, she loses hold and their shadow returns to them. Though she can do numerous things with shadows, her favourite thing to do with them is to manipulate the shape and make Shadow People . It's basically her own twisted way of having fun.
