Gift art for of his character Ming who is a mixed breed dog (mostly pekinese) who apparently is also into kung-fu I guess.Gift art is for his participation in my recent Zodiac Fan Art contest. I'm giving every person that entered one of these and the winners get theirs in fully shaded color.

Thanks for drawing this for me, Egg. I hope the crappy, low-res reference pics I provided didn't make things too difficult. 
As you could probably tell from the pixel art pictures I linked you to, Ming was going to be in a video game I was working on some years back. It was a Final Fight-type game called Night Stalkers. Ming was going to be the Guy of that game--the character with the least power, but the fastest attack speed.
Don't worry about anyone mistaking him for a female--that's by design. He's supposed to have a somewhat androgynous look.

Honestly, I'm not really satisfied with the results though. I might have to draw him again. I had a real hard time deciding on a pose and as such his came out kind of lack-luster.

I've thought about having a chinese Zodiac team but I'd have to name them something other than their sign. Having a super named "Dog" wouldn't work.

I'm trying to find the chinese word for Dog but I get this symbol:
狗.
I got this from a Google Translate page and when I pushed this feature to have this symbol pronounced, it keep saying "Gaul" or "Call". I don't know maybe you can check that and hear what it means.

I could use the phonetic chinese word for dog but that makes no sense to anyone either. The chinese symbols would likely be a big part of their costumes but their names would have to be something more workable.

When can I expect the second sketch for Zilverana though? I'm dying to color it on Paint, since I haven't finallized her colouring scheme plans yet.
