Description
Commission for of his character Peng Stormstout. A panda that practices drunken kung fu.This was tricky to draw because of the hands. Drunken kung fu strikes with the wrists instead of the palm or the knuckle. It's a cool style I was lucky enough to learn one form in.

Warrior of the virtuous heroism, though balanced like a drunken frog, he darts like a lynx! Only to fool a proud foe into thinking the panda be at the bottom of the bottle! Temptations are all over the heroes body, hair to pull, stance to mock, and hat to push down and attack behind-TRICKERY! The warrior is far more cunning then the eyes or the mind can see through-TILL TOO LATE!! It's a drunken fist and a back hand smack!
Ka-thunk! you're out!
We're is Rungok when you need him?

never heard of drunken kung fu? It is a weird style but pretty popular. Jackie chan did several movies showcasing it.

The next thing Peng needs to do is take a big sip of his wine, put a match in front of him and spit it out!!!
Too bad there isn't any of these Panda dude in WoW or I'd totally stay in the game.

I think they had something like them in Warcraft 3 or something. Not sure.

The original name is CHEN STORMSTOUT.
You are right. This character was in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne ==> Bonus Campaign.

Yes, I know this guy is not Chen. I am just saying there is a very similar NPC in the WCIII campaign called Chen. I apologize for any misconceptions caused.

Nice pic of the fighting panda. Kinda reminds me of when I watched the animated movie - Kung Fu Panda, although the main panda there was more a goof up then a real warrior, until in the end that is.
Again, a good pic. I will be waiting for the sketch of my own character. I should be getting my money this friday. You still remember my commission order and everything right? Just wanted to ask to be sure.

Ok, that is good to hear. The money shouldn't be a problem, as its coming this friday. However, if there is any problem with the overall commission, feel free to tell me, so I can see what I can do about it.

Very fun. It was probably the most basic and shortest of the drunken forms. but it had the staggering cross-steps, the deep back bends, the very unorthodox attacks and all of it kept the "drunken fist" where it looks like you are holding a shot glass in you index finger and thumb. You strike with the wrists so you condition by doing push-ups on your wrists; that can be painful.

Ahhh... the Kung Fu version of a pimp slap... nice...
Its somehow appropriate that a panda is a master of Drunken Fist.
