Ayofe Theme for Symbian S60v3

Description
This theme has been designed to run on Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition. It's been tested using the Nokia N95 but should run on any Symbian S60v3 handset. As long as the screen resolution is 240x320, otherwise everything will be blown out of proportion.All the elements exist of vectors and have been made using Illustrator. It's my very first theme ever. I do plan on releasing an updated version with an additional wallpaper but for now this will have to do

<03 July> A few things have been fixed/improved and the input highlight (the search box) has been skinned now.
<08 July> A lot of standard icons, found in newer S60v3 phones, weren't listed in Nokia's theme studio. These have now been added manually as 'third party icons' and have also been themed.
<11 July> Some minor changes such as the way passive tabs appear in landscape mode.
<15 October> Carbide.ui 3.2 allows the calculator buttons to be themed so these have been done now. A bug/glitch with the tabs has been fixed as well.

hi, i downloaded this theme because i really loved it and i used it before i got my phone serviced, but it says expired certificate.
do you have any idea what that means?

I know the theme does has a few bugs that I never managed to fix (they look fine in Nokia's theme creator yet on the phone they don't)... in what way doesn't it work well on your N95?

The icons aren't aligned well on standby and menu screens, and second, the theme looks out of proportion and makes it hard to read on some applications that don't use a background of their own..

Hmmmm, there was a problem with the 'box' shaped line that I drew in the background being overlapped by the top row of icons on some phones. There were more of those issues unfortunately, which Nokia's theme creator is to thank for. Themes appear different on the phone than they do there. I was working on a version with an alternative background though, however, due to several problems with my health I never finished it...

It really sucks that your theme doesn't work too well, its the only theme that uses some minimalism and style..

Any chance that you might emulate this theme for the s40 phones? It's so nice, but because I have an ExpressMusic 5300, I am unable to use it. Ahh, I'm jealous!

Sorry, but I'm afraid that is not going to happen. I have considered it and have had several requests for other platforms too. However, health issues and the lack of a S40 handset restrict me from being able to do so. Also, the S40 interface is quite different so the theme wouldn't look like this one, I would have to make an entirely new one.

Okay so I downloaded it and It's great, It's running perfectly on my Nokia N95 8GB, but I do have 1 tiny suggestion, could you flip the battery and Signal monitor thing in the top corners vertically, so that the largest block goes to the top, because it appears really small, and it does get a little annoying to read when in portrait mode...
Other than that, this is the greatest them ever, the colour combination are awesome, keep it up

I guess that should be possible, unfortunately the signal and battery monitors aren't accurate though, in either of the two ways. The Nokia theme creator won't let me create individual bars for each level, instead you have to create one image (which can only be the default size) and it just cuts part of that image (1/6th) off for each level. This doesn't really leave me with much creativity.
I tried making alternative bars before but they never looked nice. Apart from that, I also have a hernia at the moment which means I can hardly use my computer at the moment, let alone do some designing...

Hi there, it looks just awesome ,
I tried to install it on my N95 8Gb, cuz it just looks like the only proper N95 theme I could find (even better than Nokia's and other professionals).
It's been installed OK,
But the icons are not correctly aligned, they are shifted up.
Is there anything I should try to fix that ?
