Given that DrawingStar12 deactivated her account a while ago, I have already saved a drawing of her King Mixalot design a lot earlier.

What you're seeing are two versions of the same Medival. The left version (designed by DrawingStar12) shows Mixalot being middle-aged, while the right version (designed by me) shows him being elderly. Canonically speaking, the middle-aged Mixalot design would be set during the time of the events of 'Mixels', specifically in 2016. Since I recognise both the child and adult versions of Camillot in my headcanon, I consider both designs of King Mixalot to be part of my headcanon as well, with the younger version of the king being set 25 years earlier (in 1991). Meanwhile, his elder version would be the one setting in 2016 instead, 6 years since Mixelland's independence as a nation.

About the elderly design of Mixalot, I gave him a different outfit that fits more with his country's colourful culture. Indeed, some parts of his outfit reference Cubits. In addition, he also has a sceptre with a cube-shaped Cubit on top. The in-universe history behind this royal rainbow attire is that it was made for (and made by) Mixalot to commemorate Mixelland's independence from the Unikingdom in 2010.
