Description
The Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a statue of a reclining lion with a human head that stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile, near modern-day Cairo, in Egypt.
It is the largest monolith statue in the world, standing 73.5 m (241 ft) long, 6 m (20 ft) wide, and 20 m (65 ft) high. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture, and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians in the third millennium BC.

Yes, I know I'm lucky...but I want more! We are never happy with what we have. Anyway these last years I could enjoy one week vacation on summer and another by X-mas. And after so many years we begun to travel outside Europe - finally I have my passport!
I should have been at "Teotihuacan" pyramids, but this trip has been postponed twice...just like Italy, these are two trips on my plans to be made and always delayed...Anyway I will, I will visit your country!

Really...MΓ©xico is full of history and good people.
I know news said awful things of my city in particular, and OK is a little dangerous, but I love it!
Every one calls MΓ©xico "The city of the palaces" because there are many constructions of the of the conquest times.
I love the "Chapultepec castle" is the one where Maximiliano and Carlota, live, when he was emperor, now is a museum. It is in a forest that has stayed already in the middle of huge buildings.
And "Teotihuacan" is near my city... I wish soon I can show you it.
XOX my friend

That's so amazing! I would love to go there one day.
The picture is awesome. Artistic, yet tasteful enough to be photojournalism. FTW.
