i asked because you seem to use a lot of religious 'theme', or bible or stuff like that

egilpaulsen In reply to acida [2006-08-31 16:24:27 +0000 UTC]
yeah i understand. well, religion is perhaps the thing that matters most for some people. so its very inspiring to learn about different religions. since im european i should read the bible and bjorneboe is a god-critic person. i like that
if you are christian, i would learn more about satanism, as an opposit. isnt that a nice tought?

well yes in a way, but it always seemed like if you had a sort of unsolved issue with religion. i'm religious yes but i'm not satanist... but why you want to know about that opposite?

oh scOpe, you have made some of the most talented piece of art projects, however this one is the worst. There is not a purpose to the pose and the lighting is aweful. My apologises if I do not understand this piece.

I dont understand it either.. but its a concept im working on. its pretty surreal for you people i guess

well at least you have some background to it. It looks like the Concept is slowly getting there. by the way what do you mean by "you people"? Critics? you are one of the only artist that takes criticism very well... no hard feelings though

.
this is one of my favs in y r gallery..
liked the atmosphere you created..but most of all, your expression means a lot here...it seems that your face is very appropriate for being in yr works, i especially liked the deviations that include yourself in a naturally unnatural manner.

He looks very distraught. It's lovely, great job!
The lighting come in from a window you can't see, his shadow, the dark clothes, the weird plastic thing, the bound books, and just getting a peek into the other room makes me think he is hiding something

Very surreal. I like how your expression seems very natural while the pose and the situation seems unnatural Also like how one of your eyes is completely in shadow.
Something about the bare feet that adds to it too. I'm not sure what though lol

Very interesting compostion. I like the sepia tone and the eclectic choice of props. I even like the slightly eerie feel --AG

sc0pe has cut his hair in preparation for.... !! Don't mind me saying the hair is not you... luckily it grows back
The portrait itself is very surreal. The shadowing presents the viewer with a mysterious and ominous feeling. It's like a farewell with an uncertainly...
The collar, the platic thing - Elizabethan? Hope you were not the one wearing that!

this image is really surreal even without manipulation?
i really fond the retro color for the element and surrounding
it reminds me of the classic time
but your face has really interesting expression
look alike the dead one who wanna express something but cannot speak
