There is a victiorian cookbook on eating bugs and preparing delicious meals out of them. It was made at a time when meat was expensive.

I don't care if an animal eats a bug... I just think humans can survive without eating them... Like... I don't know. I don't eat meat, of course, but we have free range meat, why do we have to eat the things that are cooped up on a farm???

We can survive without a lot of things but doesn't mean we have to. I eat meat because it's tasty and enjoyable. What makes you think I eat battery chickens where did I state that I did? How would you know if I ate free range meat?
My grancher owns a farm with cows sheep and dogs on it. Farms aren't as bad as you make it out to be.
If you expect to be respected for not eating meat then you should respect others who do. you can expect tolerance for your beliefs and lifestyle without giving it to others. And just because you're a vegetarian does not mean you have the upper hand or more morally right.

Well, I'm not saying they abuse animals on farms. Some farms do, but it's not most. My mother used to work on a farm when she was fifteen and she also told me they didn't harm animals. I just think it's better to eat meat from the woods or something that way they've had a natural life. Farm animals don't always.

I love the muted colors here, it makes the shine on the beetles and her lips appear that much more outstanding. Really brings the emotive focus into the photographic capture. Her expression is priceless too; she seems very intent on consuming, and yet seems fixated on this unique culinary fascination.
Of the insects, I see some kind of millipede but I am very curious if the rounder insects are scarabs...? If you do happen to review this Comment, I would be honored to know the binomial nomenclature of the bugs, specifically
