Well, this would be an easy answer to keep youself from dying in a week because of a Japanese spirit in a tape. Already, I can hear a line that would be said before the trap springs open.

Well, I picture the scene as this. I may get a few parts of the tape's curse wrong but that's because I haven't watched the Ring. Also, I may get some speech and attitudes wrong
*The gang is in front of the television, watching the 'cursed tape'*
Winston: Are you sure there's something on this?
Ray: I'm sure of it! You saw how the PKE meters reacted; so there's something inside it!
Winston: You said that the last time when you scanned the fridge.
Ray: Well, anything could happen!
Peter: Hey, no time to fight. We all watched it one week ago, we all got the call, and now it's do or die. And I really don't want to die now . I got a lot of things to do.
W & R: Like what?
Egon: Guys?
Peter: Well, I have to find a girl, get married, get a nobel prize, have kids, have a family and a few other things here and there.
Ray: That's a load.
Egon: Guys!
Peter: No it's not!
Winston: It's a pretty lie, but it's still a lie, Peter.
Peter: No it's not!
Egon: DAMN IT WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE TAPE!
P, R & W: Huh?
*All three begin to watch as Sadaiko begins her crawl out of the t.v screen*
Ray: I told you something was in the tape.
Winston: Spring the trap Peter!
Peter: Not yet.
*Sadaiko pulls herself more and more out of the T.V screen, an accusing eye fixed on them.*
Peter: Hello little girl.
*Sadaiko turns her view point to Peter*
Peter: I know how cramped it is inside a tape, so allow me to give you a bigger room.
*Trap opens, and Sadaiko is sucked in head first into trap, screaming until the small doors snap shut.*
Peter: That should teach the Japanese to send us their horror flicks.
Ray: ...
Winston:...
Egon: ...LEt's just pretend we didn't hear that from you.
Peter: What?
Ray: Let's go.
Winston: YEah...
Peter: What?!
