I feel that the area on the left side of his face is a bit messy perhaps because the contrast between his hair and his shadow is not strong enough. Nevertheless, the sketch is well done.

Wow awesome pic! I guess there's no point in repeating the above comments, but I really like it too. I dunno why but just the sad little boy and the expression on his face, the kid looks soooo sad but his expression looks almost determined as if no matter what happens he'll keep going. O.o sorry just my thoughts
