Woo! Another tutorial up! Yes!
I. Am. Awesome. lol joking haha, but really I got a lot of requests for a mane and tail tutorial...even though this only covered the mane 
not enough space! That is my excuse, though, like I stated in my tut. I will make a tail tutorial if people REALLY want 
though, you do exactly the same thing for the mane, probably adjust the fade stroke a bit. :]I hope this helps some people out there! I don't know how great my explaining is...but anyway, enjoy people and I hope you gain something from this! Though, I am positive that there are MUCH better tutorials out there

I've never gotten the idea of usig burn tool to make manes look better. Thanks for the tip!

Haha it's not for everyone, though this tutorial is heading on to nearly 3 years old XD my technique has changed heaps, though i do find that the burn tool can help reach that desired darkness of a shadow and stuff xD especially if i'm feeling lazy i'll use it xD

I really wish I could, however I no longer own or have GIMP on my computer, otherwise I would! I think the principles are the same though, from what I remember, I'm certain that Gimp also has the fade affect as well :3

Ok I can not even begin to thank you enough! I have unfortunantly not been able to get a tablet with the economy going down and such my parents need to save money for the new house. And I've been lost trying to do them with a mouse they never turned out good. But now thanks to you I'm now able to do manes and tails! Don't take this wrong but I LOVE YOU! xD
