'Avatar' is a great title for this work. The vibrant rich colors provides a sense of occupying a space of a universe. The soldier here, has an air of
dominance in his expression as though overlooking the world he just created, manage and protected. Donning the full knights armor. There is a sense of royalty and nobility, and a sense of romance (well in the sense of medieval times being romanticized) also reflected in the colorful world. The Ships in background shares a sentiment of high adventures, and of a time where the world is the heroes's resources. The color purple is often associated to the feeling of royalty and dominance. As it is found by the horizon, there is a sense of dominion to this world. The sun and the clouds has a sense of life and passion, and the fortified gates has a natural wall of faith, that promotes a sense of thriving. Of moving forward. The frame surrounding the entire vibrant world, is like a window peered into the artist's soul. Like a traveler from another world, peering into another world that is surprisingly colorful and adventurous. The soldier stands guard, also with an expression of wonder, as he seems to be peering at another world from this same window. Perhaps this warrior is also a traveler as well. every dimensional or artistic world is filled with endless possibilities and one would have to be as well prepared as this soldier to take on any challenges that awaits on the other side.
The two golden wings on the front of his armor reminded me of a fiery bird, perhaps that of a phoenix. This may suggest a coming to life, in much like when it comes to being in a vibrant world, there is a sense of life that springs like a fountain. Art certainly makes an artist feel very alive. And there is a sense of magic and intrigue in the art world where anything is possible, and also provides a sense of promise to our souls that surely, there is so much more to life, beyond what we are familiar all around us. The stars and the universe, and the natural world around us, can testify to us, of a powerful and profound truth, that is yet to be discovered.
well that concludes my interpretation. Hope you enjoyed the read. This was an enjoyable experience for me. And with my imagination, I felt as though the soldier has met me by the window, a fellow comrade in arms, guiding me through this rich and vibrant world, and seeing me off by the window as I return to my own world. It was quite an exciting adventure for me.
