You know; people who play with swords tend to lose body parts. I swordfight; and trust me; the guard alone is there so fingers don't get caught and cut off in a parry. Do you really want to play with swords and lose fingers? I had a friend lose a finger playing five-finger-filet alone. Imagine what you want to do with a sword?

I have a friend who lost five fingers playing five-finger-filet. I'm all for using blades; but when you act irresponsibly; you are going to lose something. Thankfully they were able to reattach his fingers.
You should meet the guy; he says he's never gonna let any of us play that game again; even if it's with a pencil eraser. He's the real killjoy. Now; we're not gonna use a knife to play that game; but we are always using pens, pencils, and my letter-openers. But I don't like people being irresponsible. All it takes is one accident to ruin the fun. And frankly; I still play five-finger-filet. I just don't do it in front of my dickweed friend who slipped and chopped off all of his fingers.
