And given time, smoking really does ruins lives.
But anyways, this is great piece; it's really thought provoking, and the message is clear and bold.

Although it's a great photo, I think it's hogwash in most cases. My grandmother, for example, has been smoking ever since she was a teen and she could probably do backflips if she wanted to. Her breathing is great too, so it's not true in all cases.
Hell, the surgeon general even says it may, MAY, cause cancer. It's not a definite thing.
If people are so against smoking, then why not try to get them outlawed? Oh wait, Obama is trying to raise their cost and get rid of cigarretes, but he hasn't even kicked his addiction yet. Besides, people will just cling to the old excuse, "It's our human right to smoke". Gee, why don't we legalize drugs if it's our human right to hurt ourselves.
Tobacco isn't nearly as dangerous as marjuana (and don't get me started on that "medical marjuana bullcrap"

Great picture.
But, in my opinion, it would look better, if there was glowing ash, strong at the beginning and end with the last cigarette. Like live fading out or something...

I like how the second to last is tilted, and the last is completely in half. What brand were these, out of curiosity? They look like they're lights because the filter can be ripped in half to make the tobacco stronger.

I guess I'll just be another one of the art community to say "STFU on not smoking." It's just that the art wrold is *full* of smokers. Hell the *entire* world is full of smokers.
Do not get me wrong, you deserve the DD you deserve it all. I love this photo and what it shows. But

I'm a smoker, and that's my choice to make, but it's an excellent way to convey the message, and an all around excellent photo.
