Getting trought the time, tons of people pictured this problem in their own ways, but sadly, the number of smokers sometimes seems to grow, and grow, without anything to stop it.
I think this piece has its message bright enough to be seen, because death is just something hurried up by one bad behavior - smokeing.
You've pictured everything very well. The dark background adds some mistery to the whole deepness. The very bright cigarettes are outstanding which makes the watcher keep their attention on them.
It's also awesome that you've used a very tiny number of cigarettes to show a small period of time. More cigarettes may have slowly taken this photo out of its meaning.

Powerful. Wish I could put it up around school. Far too many people smoke (and ignore the smoking rules set on campus); it drives me nuts! Especially since one of my cousins got cancer (twice) from having smoked at a young age. He's better now, but it's hard to get it across to people how harmful it is. Thanks for doing it so well here.

mmm this should showm everywhere. It's a strong image and it doesn't take a genius to figure out the meaning behind it...I don't understand how it is still legal and popular in this day and age, especially if you have children or pets
