How long did this actually take to set up and get right?

Well.. first i calculated how long does it take the cigarette to finish by itself.. it took about 8 minutes so i divided it into 6 shots which means a shot every 1.3 minutes just to make it look perfectly leveled.. but i had to make the last shot (last cigarette) 3 times cause i was trying to make it look like "the end" without moving the ash with my hands. after that it took me about an hour to combine them all in photoshop and make some touch ups

That's awesome! I love when a lot of thought, calculations, and time goes into a photograph. There is such a meaningful message behind this as well, it should be used as an ad for people to quit smoking.

i was going to recomend this for a DD then i checked that ur last DD was in less than 3 months and DD rules say that u can only get 1 DD every 3 months

and might i say this is a very well done concept.. i bet u can have some health company use it as there adds..
just a little last minute thing, the ashes on the lit cigarettes is a bit unfocused.. u know, just a little more sharpness in those areas would be very nice..

nice again. i dont know if u intended it, but it's quite fitting how the ash fell off eventually as if thats the point of death after the cig is finished
