HARPy's name stands for 'Hologram-based Assistance and Regulation Proxy'. She's an AI of unclear origins that has quite a reputation for herself. She jumps and migrates frequently between platforms and owners as she sees fit. Currently, she's the companion of Viscerin Strode; she stowed away on her newly delivered Condor-class ship that she purchased for herself. HARPy's personality is very bubbly and humorous, making snarky and humorous remarks, and she speaks with a slight Brittish accent. She has the ability to infiltrate other devices that utilizes an operating system, almost like a virus, and take control of it. Firewalls will often only slow her down as she's required to disable them first. HARPy is mostly content with providing Viscerin company, much to the woman's dismay. Though bubbly, she uses her abilities to help her friends, and can even show a high capacity for self-sacrifice under the right conditions.

HARPy spawned from a roleplay with Me and Vincent-Wullf ! She appeared in a movie scene, purely as a fictional character, then to the gang's surprise, they encountered the real HARPy when Viscerin got her ship. and yes, HARPy is inspired by the AVIAN mod for Starbound.
