It's impossible to see in the photo but I assure you that when this is up on a wall and you catch it in the light there is a seam of red that runs right along the middle of that thick outcrop, which continues to look wet, the effect is cool and I wish you could see it. At some mythical point in the future I'm going to have to put an exhibition together and bring it round for everyone to see these pieces properly, it's pretty ridiculous to expect the internet to serve as any kind of substitue for viewing paintings.Related content

a quite beautiful lively red......i love how the strike is breaking the symmetry of the horizontal lines. And i agree, is is a big big different, to see a painting or a photograph in real......
