- October 2022, Centennial Airport (KAPA) -This Vietnam War era aircraft was my first helicopter ride. It came from Kansas, and the visiting pilot offered my colleagues and I flights. The Hughes OH-6 is commonly known by the nickname "Loach." In combat, these were scout helicopters.
