Enroute from Sterling to Centennial, following the South Platte River. This was the first time I ever got to take the Varga on a cross-country flight. The airplane never had a GPS installed. I do fly with an iPad, so I use its GPS pretty heavily. However, an iPad alone does not constitute appropriate navigational equipment. So, I planned a classic pilotage route: looking for landmarks every ten miles.
