More Kirbyesque fun today over at outcast, this time Darkseid's 'favorite' son Orion from DC's New Gods [link]a little less complex than yesterday's metron, the detailed sketch took around 35 - 40 mins but I decided to go on and ink and color it, hopefully in a style fitting Kirby Era 4th World.

I used to read the New Gods over and over again when I was a kid (along with all the other Jack Kirby comics I owned)! That looks great, I really love it!

You should totally hang on to those circles in the top-left corner (for lack of a better term), and use them as some Kirbyesque cosmic pattern

top left corner? oh my nodes/skeleton I use to plan out my pose. Yeah looking back at them they would make a great symbol - almost like something in Galactus ship
