Description
One day Terho had taken young Perdita out to the nearby fields. It was still early spring and the new plants hadn't yet started to peek through last year's grass but he figured it would be nice to see what they could find there. Perdita is so young she could learn a lot. Eventually Terho evel let Perdita explore on her own as long as she wouldn't stray too far. It didn't though take long before Perdita rushed back to Terho, crying out in distress. She was chased by a tall, pink creature the like of which Terho had never seen before. Terho told the all creature to stay back or she would get a taste of his horns.

The tall creature didn't really mean harm though, she assured. She had apparently seen Perdita in the woods and thought she was ADORABLE! And oh so alone... As a Fomantis, she felt it was her duty to take in this young baby of her kin! She just wanted to pick her up and take her to a safe place! Of course, the moment she had tried to grab Perdita, the baby cried out and scooted off at high speed. This stranger didn't realize it might come off as scary! The story seemed suspicious to Terho but he could see on the stranger's face that she was very sorry for the whole ordeal. Whether or not she was planning on grabbing Perdita as an adoptable child or as prey, she was now regretful as she saw the little one was not alone.

The creature, a Lurantis/Sylveon Hybrid, ended up following Terho and Perdita back to the Gardens. She was convinced that the baby would need a mother-figure after hearing she was apparently an orphan and Terho had just taken her in as his own. She would teach Perdita to be the pretty mantis creature she was always meant to be!

And that's how Virna ended up getting his hands on... that thing. I have a feeling he was not particularly thrilled. But oh well!
The story is written a bit sloppily, I feel, but I'm super tired right now. xD I just felt like I needed to explain what's going on here!

Also yes. I wanted the creature to be more bug-like than Sylveon-like. :3c No fur. None of those shapes on the ears are fur. But she's still pretty in her own way!

Now. Off to play some Warfeame or Overwatch and then SLEEP. SWEET REST.
