You're welcome! The anatomy of the figure is extremely accurate. (I see that advice is much appreciated) The only advice I could think of (and I am by NO MEANS and expert) is to add some smaller branches to the trees. But since it's paint, I don't know if you could do that. I DO know that I could never in a million years pull this off in watercolor.

Thanks for your advice, the difficulty here is to add details before you paint the background, and as I don't like "masking fluid" it's difficult for me

If I could afford it I'd go in a heart beat for sure! If I could visit any place in the world it would definitely be the Louvre. Out of anywhere! I cannot begin to imagine how my heart would melt with joy seeing all of those beautiful paintings in person.

Lamia is one example of succubus in the mythology
But a lot of people represent succubus as they found in video games with horns and bat wings ... I chose differently

You have a french tale about one called Melusine

It's an interesting tale.
The only thing that's said in the tale is that she's a serpent or a mermaid once she gives birth or once in the 7 years something like that.
But the serpent/mermaid things depends what tale you follow.
And she's only referred as a succubus in Martin Luther his version.
What I know is that succubusses are an explanation why men have wet dreams at night.
That they were prey to the succubusses but that they survived it.
Because succubusses suck the lifes of innocent (horny) men.
Anyway.. that's what I know

Nice! It looks as you spent a long time painting it I love the detailed background! it's not an easy thing to paint. I think it would look even better if some branches would be darker than the others, as to give more depth. Highlighting the ones she is leaned on would work too :3. The pose looks great, and she's hauntingly beautiful

Superbe ! Les couleurs sont vraiment bien choisies et fond drôlement bien ressortir le rouge
