My honest opinion is that you did a really good job for your first time. Obviously the tutorial helped, as I see some of the same elements here that were in the tutorial ( which, by the way, wasn't very good as far as explanation goes ).

It's a tiny little city block, but it looks great. The shadows are a bit light, and the trees look a little too flat, but otherwise this is a nice pixel scene. For your first try, it's a very good pixel scene.

I'd tell you to find some more tutorials on pixel art and give them a try. I can't remember any URLs off the top of my head, but use Google and you're sure to find something. That'll help you get better.

That is so good, a lot better than I could do (of course). I really love it. The trees seem a little flat, but other than that, it's really good. YOU ROCK.

I want to live in the blue house. Yeah. I think I should live in the blue house and you should live in the red house, and we should go to the school. And be...the only people there. We could teach each other. And make up our own dorky pledge of allegiance. And then go home and have sleepovers and play videogames while singing the fish from hell song ;_;

Very nice pixel work here. When I saw this, the way you pixelled and colored this reminded me of ~zoggles work, but then I saw you used a tutorial as a guideline and whoever did that tutorial was obviously inspired by his work, heh. Keep it up!

awesome. great job on almost everything. the textured look is very nice. but the pine trees look kinda flat and not cone shaped.
