Well, every week or so, I browse through members' submissions (pieces that have been accepted into the group gallery and can be found in the folders) and randomly pick a theme, and choose works related to that theme (usually a theme from a gallery folder). For example, this week I browsed through the Abstract and Surreal folder. From that folder, I select the seven best pieces that I feel deserve more recognition. (It is usually seven pieces, but that number may change depending on the availability of related pieces).
Since I like to get the members involved in helping each other out, I post the seven best pieces on a poll, allowing the members to vote for their favourite. The piece with the highest number of votes is then moved to the group's Featured folder (this folder proudly displays the group's most talented works, thus recognizing its most talented artists).
