The vivid color, the great composition, the water - so appropriate for your first deviation.

Today it had more s as (than??) it had in the 2 years before
It is an old light-ship in the port of Emden and it reads "Deutsche Bucht" (German Bight) .
And I still like the vivid colors and the faded reflection ..

"more than" is the phrase...
Interesting about the more faves - more watchers for one thing, I suppose. It's good to do the updates - one hardly has time to go all the way to the far reaches of even dear friend's galleries

... ever once in while. But there is more beyond. I have learned so much much about composing and editing in those 2 years. When I up-date, there always is an improvement with it ... - else it goes ...

Do you feel like dA itself has contributed to your learning? I know it has for me - not for the poetry, which I have been writing for decades, but for the collage, which I only began "seriously" about a year ago. And I have improved so much - partly from doing a lot of work - which I do because I know people will look at it - and also from seeing what others do - and from the encouragement here.

Funny, isn't it
No, come on. I like this picture a lot for many reasons. Also it sort of was my first (gentle though) step into the world of abstraction. And I drove about 300 km for a photo session to the little town of Emden a ay day before new year's eve last year ...
I am still really knocked out about your collection

Didn't took me a long time to find out, though.
BTW Great to see you here tonight, despite of the time shift / difference?
