don't know why i keep finding these numbers so intriguing - usually i lean towards a more free-flowing, organic countenance, but here perhaps there is some wiggle room to be found, a sort of inner depth i hadn't noticed before...

maybe there is something organic about this numbers as they do not seem to follow any sort of system or order ?

i think that is it. it allows them some freedom - breaks them out of their sequences so they can fade and coalesce as their own being.

This is a very agitating image for the computer programmers at DA. At first it looks like base 16, but then there are no zeros!

I'd recommend it to anyone. But you'll need a couple of months to watch it all

In Alpirsbach, if you should come to this region [link]
What a shame that they do not even mention the museum on their official tourist site But once you are there, it is easy to find

Das Museum fungiert tatsΓ€chlich auch noch als echte Druckerei fΓΌr das Kloster in Alpirsbach. Es gibt auch Kurse etc. Lohnt jeden Besuch.

These were sets of matrices for one of the type setting machines and different fonts. All figures are availabe in different sizes.

Oh yes. The way the numbers are in sequence but also repeat makes it puzzling if one does not know.
