A wonderful and moving photo! Expertly captured!

I do hope that one day soon, before it is too late, more people become wiser and we move more in the direction of clean energy. I feel this photograph really shows the feelings surrounding that topic.

It's like a science fiction scene, the colors (and textures) make a wonderful effect. Very well cropped.

ahhh...progress in its finest hour

well, I am sure there are many differing opinions about what progress should look like, but for now, this is what we have done

probably as many different opinions as there are people. i also find interesting the contrast of the oil tanker jetty in the background and the signs of clean energy in the foreground. also great to catch the sea floor at low tide ...

good catch - getting the exposed feet. Β I hate these things. Β It's impossible to look out to sea from our coastline now and see a clear horizon. Wind farms everywhere Β grrrr !! They're not that effective either, how many do you see just sitting there, doing nothing? Β Here it's the vast majority of them. Β

Good picture though my dear Β

they certainly are not the most beautiful landmarks. to be honest. i do not like them either. we do not see them from the beaches - they are too far out. but of course it is almost impossible to take a decent landscape photo anymore - at least in some parts of the country.

thank you, Harry. and yes - one of the new big off-shore ones for the north sea. rotor diameter is in the order of 300 feet.
the landing stage in the back belongs to the main oil terminal in germany, delivers oil via pipelines to all major refineries ...
