Awwh - this is not very far indeed. The place is only visited by most tourists at daytime, hotel is not expensive with a lot of light, open to artists (mostly musicians and related to the annual jazz festival) and has a strategic position for nice day trips in all directions ...

Indeed, strategic position : Sète, Arles, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier beautiful cities "close" to this area... sea... mountains... semi-wild spots (like Camargue etc) !

We are good here but we just heard on the radio that 2.5 million people are without power! Not far away - say an hour east of here is where it begins to be bad. There were too many leaves left on the trees, the snow made them heavy and branches fell on power lines. There was a hard frost here last night but the temperature tomorrow is supposed to reach 10 above zero. East coast weather has certainly been - uh - dramatic these last few years.
