Those ferns, yes. They have a remarkable texture, indeed. And they are so old even in terms of earth history ...

I keep coming back to this one, Ulrich...simple in design and contrast, with that touch of asymmetry that makes me smile...and a green that I just want to immerse myself in...
Beautiful shot!

Thank you, Yvette, dear friend, for your visit and your encouraging comment. Indeed it is a very intense green, and an almost fractal pattern (archaic, as it is).
On Friday I shall have finished the calculation of that huge project that they made me to do and I hope to have my poor little head free for some time at dA and some inspiration. Right now tiredness of mind and body is my middle name.
And I am also waiting for the July results from the newspaper competition
I am sure that each of my 3 contributions is better than my "winning" picture from June, but I do not know if they chose the same photographer twice in a row

I canΒ΄t tell you Ulrich how much I like this picture! Nature patterns and colours are the most beautiful, and this one - wow, so delicate, so lovely, graceful and soothing for eyes!

Very strange leaves, those ferns have, a bit like a fractal image I thought. And, indeed, very delicate and a subtle textures. Very glad, that you like it, Betty!

EintoeRn In reply to m-lucia [2010-07-18 16:11:42 +0000 UTC]

very green, indeed - the title also being a message from my past. And I was a bit scared because of possible tick attacks, haven't found any, though - so far.
Goos to have a personal touch, if it is only with pictures

m-lucia In reply to EintoeRn [2010-07-18 16:28:34 +0000 UTC]

Paleozoic... one of your former lives...?
tick attacks...
I'm sure you have several personal touches

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

EintoeRn In reply to m-lucia [2010-07-18 16:40:08 +0000 UTC]

No, not THAT far back, but sort of geology-related. Also ferns being among the oldest plants on this planet, maybe 350 million years
Yes, ticks are becoming growing concern. They used to stick to the south of Germany, but obviously they are migrating north. Even when they do not carry meningitis along, they may transfer other nasty diseases.
I am afraid that you are right about of the personal touches, many of them not being really nice
