Yes I should! It would've been a great experience, I'm sure. Not so sure about a second night-shift though, or the third and so on...
Na, but the image is something else, of course. And I love the darkness and the mood. The brief "meeting" of different existences - the men on the ground, the people travelling through the night inside the passing train. We cannot see them, but we know they are there. So near, and so far ... and then the moment is gone.
Welcome, dear

So well expressed. Of course this is what I was thinking, but as I cannot speak so well, it is in this picture !

it's a great capture Where were you standing?
I understand that most rail maintenance work is done at night and at weekends (here anyway) because there are fewer trains, so it's safer for the guys.

It looks so sad, for some reason... ...Maybe because I miss the "going by train" for some happy fun, on weekends or who knows... ...Also those people could feel cold (I see the thermos)...
But I love it.

It was quite a pleasant night (for November). And it is interesting to look at the people in the passing trains at night ...
