It was a long time ago - and it was the first place I found - and it was quite expensive. I worked in the Hilton hotel, and other places. I was just interested to go to Europe! All my neighbours were descended from refugees from Koenigsberg, in East Prussia - now Kaliningrad - and had very harrowing stories to tell. They'd been given houses there after the end of WW2. Nice people, we got along very well

I've been to Koln (Cologne) and Dusseldorf - 14 years ago. Germany's a beautiful country. I have no idea what a "Oberhausen" is (maybe I should use Google Translate?!).

Man müsste irgendwie schaffen, die Umgebung (und das Wetter!) zu ignorieren, aber dann hätte man so viel Aufmerksamkeit übrig und wüsste nicht wohin mit dieser, auch nicht gut.
