Featured here we have the lovely Lady-Admiral (self-proclaimed) Bianca Dolcetto Amaretto. A devoted and most pious Rogue Trader in the service of the Golden Throne and a lady with an equal love for fine living and high adventure. In this scenario, based on an event that cropped up in our gaming sessions, Amaretto suffered a most grievous defeat in the depths of space. Her beloved cruiser, the First Argument of Queens, was set ablaze by foul alien beasts! She and her entourage were forced to flee onto the surface of a primitive feudal world, untouched by the ravages of space combat. Fortunately, the locals proved to be a pious, Emperor-fearing lot. Unfortunately, they were so primitive as to mistake a landing vessel as a fell beast and the glowing lady within for a witch. A swift capture later and they had her in chains, ready for a good and proper witch trial!

As a character of mine for FantasyFlight's Rogue Trader gameline, I find Amaretto an absolute blast to roleplay. Bombastic, near-constantly drunk and so very pious, her very personality ensures that something is always going on. Be it forcing people to have dinner parties with her at gunpoint or firing the Nova Cannon to prove a point or, indeed, getting herself captured by feudal knights! It also makes for a very fun break from the usual trend of Rogue Trader characters to be all "Screw the Imperium! I'mma be bringing FREEEDUM!" and try to play the crazy mess that is Warhammer 40.000 *seriously*

This was a very, very beautiful commission. It turned out just as I had imagined. No small thanks to 's skills and Cao 's sage advice for making that a possibility. Thank you both!
