This is precisely how I view a banshee. The Celtic legends of them do not depict them as horrid creatures but a Sidhe that fell in love with a nobleman and the reverse was also true. After his death the Sidhe vowed to protect his clansman for all time. I am Nordic descent and we have a very similar legend. Thank you for this piece of art.
