The reason I did this was because I wanted to see if I could do better plus im not to good at portraits and shading faces
so I decided that this Summer I would improve by doing more portraits^^
I feel that I did improve a bit but i'll keep trying^^

This is why it's a good idea for artists to keep their old artwork. It brings back memories but you can also see how far you've come artwise. Instead of comparing yourself to another artist, compare yourself to yourself. I really like this florished improvement. There is so much change in the work and the effort. I have to laugh at how Link's lips look in the 2009 version XD I can see in 2009 you developed a talent and in 2014 you improved are continuing to do so

The improvement is obvious. You have improved through the years noticeably.
The style and overall feel and detail is nicely done. No need to say anything else, the improvement is there, thats all that matters.

Wow, you got some great 3d drawing skills. It's impressive how round the second one looks. The first one has a great hairstyle, like a tiger XD
If I should criticize the second one, I would say that the nose is a little small, but other than that it really looks great and you have come a long way.

I love how you shaded his face and I'm in love with the detail in the hair! I kinda like the way I draw hair but it's nothing compared to how you draw it; yours is in colour
