*sigh* Due to some weird kind of legal issues concerning the Blue Beetle character, the JLU cartoon will probably never get a chance to show him, so I decided to make a mock model sheet of what he might look like...Related content

Ted actually starred in one of the JLU's comic books titled "Monitor Duty" and appeared in the background of an older JLU trade titled "The Ties that Bind". "Monitor Duty" was part of a series aimed at younger audiences, but is still entertaining for adults (much like JLU was).

WTF? I knew of the Bat-embargo and all that (also screwing up Smallville to a degree, but then again they went places with Green Arrow they couldn't have with Bats....)....
But THIS is why Beetle didn't get to show in the DCAU?

Very much like the show. But I don't get it. Batman: The B & B had both Beetles, why not JLU? Oh, and seriously all superhero fans; Show some respect for TED KORD, not the first but the BEST BLUE BEETLE!!!

Blue Beetle was shown in JLU comic series, issue #05--Monitor Duty. So there is a slim chance that he may make an appearance in the show
