Eeee! -ahem- I love hearing people say things like this. It means that the story works exactly as I wanted it to.
I want to do a lot more with Nuin and Esper eventually, because they lived together for a long time and had a few interesting adventures. The two of them have this bond that I didn't realize was SO powerful when I was first starting out to write. They just... work well together. X3

Oooh, I love maps. I really do. They just take foooreeeveeer to make. But this is a lovely map--I really love your use of colour to indicate climate zones. Question, what technique did you use to make the landmasses and the coastlines?

OOh boy. A combination of stuff. For the coastlines I basically use a style of making satellite-style maps that I found on Cartographer's Guild, which is basically a bunch of difference cloud + random gradient pattern shtuff layers, with a levels layer on top to find the actual shape. It's complicated, and I might do a tutorial at some point because it's weird. XD

No I've actually read about that technique--I was just wondering if it was the one use used because I haven't tried it before. But it seemed to work out pretty good for you, so I might be able to get it to work for me...whenever I actually get around to making the maps I've been planing for the past year and a half.

Yup! I use that, the Atlas Style one, and Wilbur. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it.
