Description
Sicky sicky sick. I live in Colorado. Guess what I'm allergic to? FREAKING CEDAR POLLEN. kill meMostly a landscape study based on pictures of Kazakhstan and Mongolia, as well as some of the country surrounding my current home. (I mean, I live in the city but only have to drive ten minutes directly west to find something like this.) Also I love horses and hawks, though I know very little about the former. Technically I suppose that bird should be a golden eagle, but I do believe they get red tailed hawks in Kazakhstan as well? Could be wrong.Β
One thing I keep noticing when looking at reference is that Mongolian horses are so smol. And I love them.Β Also scale on horse riders of any persuasion is really difficult. Because horses are big, and I myself am smol, and I feel like my frame of reference may be slightly skewed.
If those clouds in the back look really realistic it's because they're from a photo I took. I do that a lot.

There is a lovely sense of scale to this. Very nicely composed.
Sorry you are suffering. Hayfever can get pretty unbearable. Is there any medication you can take to alleviate the symptoms?

Thank you!
Yep, I'm currently taking some over-the-counter stuff and a bunch of chamomile and lavender tea. Seems to be working, if slowly.

Glad you are seeing some improvement. I had monster hayfever last time I was in Tokyo and it took a few days to get something that would ease it. Horrible.

Thank you! I seem to be getting better at the whole illustrated backgrounds thing.
