Watercolor assignment where I took a painting done by an old master and had to recreate it with an animal head. Only God knows why I chose a llama but the rest of the painting is from William Bouguereau's "Meditation" painted in 1885. Original size 9''x12''Related content

Thanks for the comments. I hated this painting while working on it but after 5 long months i finished it after procrastinating quite a bit and I entered it in a competition but the judges weren't too crazy about it. Oh well. Thanks again.

You are welcome. I have had several llamas so I am partial. As for the painting, you absolutely nailed the feeling of Bougereau, and in the very difficult medium of watercolor. You got game girl!
