Description
Also should've been submitted earlier. What's wrong with my sence of time? Here's an average turtle angel and a turtle cherub. Just random cute things enhanced by computer coloring. I estimate this one was made in 2001, but I can't remember for sure since I didn't write down the date on it.Related content

Hehe. Thanks. Well, I used a program that I don't think I have anymore to do some things, but I could later recreate the same filter (almost) by doing this in Paintshop pro:
First, finish all your colorations.
Then make two copies of the finished pic in the program.
On one of them use 'dilate' under the 'edge' listing on the effects menu.
Then, use Blur, then dilate again, then blur, then dilate again, then blur, and maybe a few more times again.
After it's been dilated and blurred enough, set the blurred one or the original
as your fill-tool pattern. Set the fill-tool to match-mode 'none' and the opacity to, Oh... I guess around 55 or so depending on how soft you want it. Use it once on the opposite picture of the one you set as the fill-tool pattern. That should do it... if it's still too blurry or sharp, undo the flood fill and adjust the opacity before trying again. It should have a healthy soft glow to it. This works on some pics better than others.
Anyway, thanks for all the faves! See ya later.

Just going through your gallery looking for that fox character you said had similar colors to Alora (out of curiosity, plus I think it's cool ) and I had to fav. this one... the angel turtles are so CUTE!

Something about these fondly reminds me of one of my fave toys from my childhood. It was a little purple turtle that opened up and you could hide stiff inside. These are just too cool and cute!

Thanks!
Aww, I think I remember having one of those as well when I was about four or so, come to think of it. Was it that kind that had a key shaped like a dragonfly or butterfly to unlock the compartment?

I honestly can't remember a key... The back was soft rubber, with an "X" shape that opened up when pressed on the sides (Lord knows how many times I twisted my hand in that thing while trying to get a coin out....lol)

Such pretty soft colors, and I know this has nothing to do with it but it's really making me wanna play Mario 3

Thank you!
And nothing stirs up feelings that you wanna play Mario games better than winged turtles.
