Description
(Don't Cry for Mommy.)Work stuff.
A commission for Encouraging Hope. They wanted a man and a child version. The child was my favorite...probably because it looks like a little Ematen.
"Encouraging Hope Ministries is a faith based, non profit group for women who are suffering through the addiction of a loved one."
Kind of confuses me why they wanted a man and child, now that I pasted that. Oh well. More money for me

The child looks so fragile, and those eyes are incredible. What an emotive piece and so well done!

wow excellent work, you seem to have an attraction to eyes. I LOVE cat eyes and serpents eyes. I wish humans had more color diversity, like purple, yellow, and grey eyes. I'm sure one day we will.

Very lovely work, the features look quite delicate and soft. Wonderful job on the shading,
the whole piece is like a Botticelli angel

I can agree with your confusion on why a non-profit group for women would want a man or a child for their message. So it makes this artpiece a little hard to understand why it is connected to them when I can a see woman's face instead. oh well, I guess.
Anyways, I like how you did the eyes and the hair of this child's face. the hair has some nice lighting going on there and I like how the warmest part of the hair contrasts with the black. then I just like the blue eyes. When I first saw this piece I kind of thought those were tears of happiness, until I looked at the mouth and realized differently.
lastly, nice job with the soft lighting on the face!

Wow.
I love how you made the face so round. It really makes it look so much younger.

This is a great rendering! Encouraging hope is a worthy cause. The light hitting the child's face is like a ray of hope.
