I like this composition much - and that wood panel laptop is pretty sweet, I'd like one, but then again its Asus, a brand whose line of laptops I need to see evolve a little more before investing in them. I got to watch out what I begin to like, though, because wood panels tend to be liked by the geriatric variety if you know what I mean....

So what purpose does the laptop serve in the wild? Do parrots nest in it? Spiders lay their traps in it? Does the secret hyper-advanced monkey civilization study with it? Or is it a sentient self-concious organism capable of sending cheap Viagra ad-spam and stealing your bank account? And do you think that if you ate it you'd get qwertytis and die?
P.S. As you surely know awesome work

excellent work
especially first one. its very alive and colors are so appealing.
but imho the left parrot shouldn't be here at all because when i look at the tree its at totally different perspective and now this parrot hangs kinda unnatural.
if u get me.

Both look great dude, you did a nice job, and I know pleasing clients is a hard thing to do. With that in mind you can only create according to their specifications and this is top notch stuff.
Keep up the good work, hopefully they took it easy on ya with being picky on small details

The left side looks really good but i don`t really get it why the "tree" is so shiny and the laptop is so dark :S
And on the right side, look at the shadow of the tyre beside the laptop (where "ASUS" is written, down-left corner).
Hope i could help you. Beside these 2 critic-points have you done a good job but u`ve done better before.
Please excuse my bad english!

One thing I should prob make clear in the description; I'm not looking for critique. The job is finished, the piece is done. It's been approved by the client, it's been published and broadcast - I'm just sharing it here to show people what I've been up to. dA is a great tool for getting feedback and improving, but it's not really what I use it for when I show work that was completed months ago.
This isn't a shot at you - I appreciate you taking the time to write a decent comment - getting rarer as time goes on! I just am not personally looking for detailed critique on the stuff I submit, as it's always completed work.

No problem I will remind it next time I watch your deviations.
Howether I know you don`t need my Comment or Critique so you don`t have to wonder if I don`t comment next time because IΒ΄m not watching you for giving you comments which are senseless comments, I`m because I want to help you.
So I`ll read your Artist Comment next time with more attention...

haha keep in mind that itΒ΄s not always easy to satisfy a client with the stuff u usual do.
They always got their own things in mind and whenever you cross these boundaries they get pissed.
As far I have experience with client jobs, most of them donΒ΄t turn out on the level I usually do my stuff, just because these shit art directors or clients.

It's one shadow! I was asked not to cover the laptop too much - this is an advertising campaign, it's not like I'm just having fun making whatever, there is direction involved.

Nice work, something doesn't seem quite right about the parrot sitting on the laptop, but all cool other than that.

You're very welcome!
Your works are perfect,
and I've read your journal yesterday
and I'm totally agree.
For example,my works are very simple
cause I've started with Maya only in March 2008,
I'm learning by myself and the same with Photoshop,
I'm not an art student,so you can understand my problems.
I think to have some creativity
but I really don't have the art knowledge.
This is my problem,
so I'm happy when I watch all deviantartists works
and I absolutely don't want a DD
I only wanna stay here on deviantART
Ps:sorry for this long poem

Love both of them, especially the forrest one, but as someone already pointed out, shouldn't the parrot ontop of the laptop cast a shadow?

Oops, must have turned the layer off by mistake.
Actually, no, I remember, I had one, but they didn't want the laptop covered too much.
