I just love that he's wearing a tie and his harness. Love it really cute and funny. Love your art style especially the faces they are very expressive. Yes Fluttershy is completely controlled by that rabbit.

I'm really amused by all the Anti-Fluttermac comments. Seriously people, it's his preference, not yours. If you don't like FlutterMac, big freakin whoop, don't pester him about it.
As for me, I really enjoy this pairing.

This pairing just makes me mad. People saw how he acted in Hearts and Hooves before the Love Poison, why do they insist on pairing him with nearly everyone? He can't even speak a full sentence to anyone but his family!

If seriously, I think people insist on shipping Big Mac with everypony just because it's almost the only male pony character that is given some personality. The other background male characters in the show, like Soarin' or Caramel, are hardly recognized as having a certain, erm, character

Well, you do need to talk to each other in a relationship for it to work.
And I don't think he really has any character yet. We don't really know much about him, like why he's so shy or why he loves Smarty Pants so much.
Besides, I've seen pairings with every stallion in the show, especially the two. People don't have to know the characters to ship them, and that's why it upsets me.

It looks like that one can find pairings of anypony with everypony: the fandom is large, and people may think up even the weirdest combinations! Of course, there are popular ones, like FlutterMac or AppleDash, or even Derpy and Dr. Whooves, but it seems that every possible coupling was already used -- and maybe even some impossivle ones
I hope that we'll see more of Big Mac in the following episodes; he's my second favourite pony character -- after Rainbow Dash, of course 
By the way, you've just mentioned a possible reason why FlutterMac shipping is so popular: both Fluttershy and Big Mac are SHY.

But have you thought of how much Big Mac spends working, or how long Fluttershy takes care of her animals? And like you said, they're both really shy. This is why they wouldn't do well as a pair. You have to get to know each other to make it work, and they both lack people skills.
It just would never work for me.

Applejack also works a lot, but she still has time to hang out with her friends; Fluttershy has a lot of pets to care for, but she still has time to hang out with her friends! Why wouldn't Big Mac have just a little spare time for some personal life? After all, as a full-grown stallion, he must have the need, um, to love and to be loved!
Maybe they both are shy, but I don't think that one should spend the whole life just working as an apple-harvesting tractor or just being a doormat for an ill-mannered bunny
In real life, I know a really shy couple. They would never get married (they apparently liked each other, but were too shy even to talk), but the guy's older sister (who was the girl's good friend) managed to bring them together. Now they're together for almost 20 years, and they're one of the nicest couples I ever met!
What am I talking about? I know Big Mac has the sister who is Fluttershy's good friend, and I know the precedent in real life! That's why it works for me
