Coffee Cats are cats made of coffee, caramel, and coffee beans. The rarer types may have ice cubes, whipped cream and/or straws. Their personality reflects their coffee flavor.

HOW THEY CAME TO BE
A cat was taken from a shelter and brought to the home of an elderly scientist. The scientist noted how smoothly the cat moved and how graceful they were, like liquid, almost. The scientist decided to try combining a liquid and a cat, to make a fast, silky smooth cat. The liquid of his choice was coffee.

The experiment went wrong. Halfway through the fusion of cat and coffee, the police barged into his house, having received a tip-off about the illegal cat/coffee experiment. The police took the poor cat but then, realizing that a food/animal hybrid might come in handy, decided to keep it. They kept it in a room with one window and cracked the window open a little bit. Being part liquid, the animal quickly escaped from the room, albeit not without some injuries. Eventually it breeded with other cats, and its offspring started running around with other cats who bred with other Coffee Cats and so on and so forth, until they became a thriving species like they are today, though they mostly keep to themselves in dark alleyways or the forest.

Coffee Cats are, understandably, quite drippy. Their coffee drips all over the place, wherever they walk, so why don't they run out of coffee?

Well, they do. Quite often, in fact. About once a month, Coffee Cats need to obtain more coffee, otherwise they'll keep shrinking until they're nonexistent. They sometimes break into human coffee shops for their supplies. Some keep a supply of coffee grounds and mix them with water to create a watered-down coffee. Others add things like gelatin to their coffee in the hopes that this will prevent their coffee from dripping as much. There is still no reliable, permanent way to keep coffee from dripping.

Coffee Cats' personalities reflect their coffee flavor. For example, if a coffee is dark and bitter, the Coffee Cat might be angry and hostile. If the coffee was something light and sweet, well then, that's the personality! No two Coffee Cats can have the same type of coffee. If there is a Spiced Pumpkin Latte Coffee Cat, then there can also never be an Iced Spiced Pumpkin Latte Coffee Cat.
