Have you thought of giving a graphics tablet a try? I found that two freeware programs can be used together for powerful results. There's a good inexpensive 6X8 inch tablet here: [link]

I kinda want to practice with Traditional art slightly more then I can think about going to Graphic type of programs. Since I would like to improve and try out ideas that I have yet to draw.
