Yey Layer! I randomly felt like drawing her in OC today. o_oBut I've meant to do something like this for a long time. Ever since I first played the game and saw her.
I love charas with faces hidden under hair/metal hair/whatevah.

So far, she only appears in one game in the whole MegaMan universe, as far as I know. She acts as a mission operator and sends "helpful" information relays to the guys on the missions.
Since it's possible to do so, I'm gonna try to unlock her as a playable character in MM X8, riiiight now!

Haha, yes, my efforts to find any art of her were not fruitful. I haven't played any Mega Man games for a loooonnnng time... The last one I played was X, Iris' debut, I think... That was like 4 or 5 wasn't it?

Ah yah, Iris, Colonel, General and the Repliforce. They all appeared in MM X 4, a very fun section of the series. I liked Iris! Not so much her fake-ish British accent, tho. But she was cute, so in that case the bad voice acting could be overlooked.

She was cute but I wasn't too fond of her character for some reason. Not sure why. A little too girly/whiny I guess. I suppose I could play the game again sometime and give her another shot...

...She'd probably still be whiny. xD But I couldn't blame her, given the situation she was in. It'd be more strange if she was gonna be apathetic towards the fact that her brother and Zero where going to beat the curcuits out of each other, I guess. But yah! The game is worth playing again. ^_^
He's too busy thinking about killing things to pay her much attention, even tho she obviously likes him. 
xD Yah, she's like the only humanoid Reploid I've seen who's got a tan complexion. Capcom got edgy with Layer! Gave her underboobies, tan skin, metal panties, a sexy voice... About time that company took up on some risky ideas again.

We've been wanting to play our Ice Lance/Pearlescent combo for a really, really long time. I remade Pearl like 6 times, until I decided I hated the ATs. But the PBs fit her really well.
Plus I have an earth troller I'm in love with.
Luckily, "Statesmen" picked up his shit a moved on over to the Villains side of productions. "Positron" took over, and things have improved muchly.

I've never played any Megaman games (tho' I've a cassette a friend recorded for me of MM 4 or so, I think), but I've always liked the character design. And their names are always so cool, too! Like Layer here. She's sheeexy.
