I love The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. 'Specially since the Zelda Collection disk I've got doesn't freeze whenever I play MM anymore. YEY! Now I can finish the game someday.This is Anju fanart. I dunno why but I like Anju (And Anju's mom and grandmother, Romani, Cremia, the bank guy, the Zoras and Indigo-Gos, Rosa sisters, that big turtle thing, Skull Kid, the Giants, running with the Bunny Hood on, swimming as a Zora, a buncha other stuuuufs). Whenever I see her in Clock Town, I think that she's cute in some strange way. I liked her character in Ocarina of Time too, but it's Majora's Mask that has the characters with lots of personality to them and that's when I really liked her the bestest.
I guess that she's thinkin' about Kafei, her fiance who's gone missing, in this picture, hmm.

I never was really fond of Majora's Mask. I don't really know but I found it a bit lacking, more like an expansion to the original OoT. I think it would have been better if there was all the sidequests and characters avliable in OoT. That said, I only was able to play it one summer, and I couldn't finish it.
Anyway, that's looking right mad awesome. I'm loving how you nailed the LoZ style, with such awesome eyes. The expression is just perfect. However I think her nose and mouth and mouth stand out a bit too much. Like they're making the face look to her left more than it it actually is. I think you could try and erase a tad bit the line that connects the nose with the mouth to correct it. And besides, I think her body looks a tad bit disproportioned compared to the head. Aside from that, it's one of the best Anju renditions I've seen. Anju gotta be one of the best characters in MM that's for sure

Oh yaaaah. Well it took a bit of looking, but I do see what you are saying about the nose and area under it that goes to the lips. I wouldn't wanna erase the lines but I coooould have put some dark shading underneath her nose so that it would seem more dimensional.
Agreed on her body proportions, I saw that too. Prolly why I didn't draw the rest of her body, toooo lazy to fix what I'd already done.
Oh man, you didn't much like MM? I guess some people don't tho, so it's okay, but I looooves it! It feels much more interactive and personal with the masks that give new abilities and the townspeople being the way they are.

Hehehe, lazyness is sure a bad ally, yet we all seem to get along with it very well 
Well, I didn't like that much but it's also true that I jouldn't get the best out of it. IT's just my opinion that maybe it would have been better if they integrated the elements, characters and sidequests of MM into OoT, just because it feels a like an expansion to OoT. It's still a one great game tho.

Now I haven't beaten MM yet, but I already think that it's closer to how I've always wanted a Zelda game to play and feel ever since the 80s. Plus the adventure doesn't feel all lonely and forced upon Link as much as it did in OoT. Now Link and the player have people to think about and help, as he does the things to set Termina back on track and to stop the Skull Kid. Sommmmmething's magical about that. I really love this game, so good!
But OoT was much fun, too, ain't no question there. Plus Saria's in it, woo!
I'll draw Kafei too at some point, probably along with Anju again, together cuz those poor kids need to be united.

Anju and Kafei....I cried when I finished that sidequest. ;_________; It was so darn touching, but I loved doing it. The first half was so easy. Though the second half was kinda stressful. o______o Suspenseful, actually.
Anyhow...The coloring on this is absolutely stunning! I stared at it for a long time before I felt like commenting. XD Everything is done so wonderfully. The background is perfect, and it looks just like the interior of the inn. I keep staring at that plant....Gosh, it looks so real! =O You have such nice coloring (as I've said a million times X3). Her eyes are so....sad. T___T It makes me wanna cry, but I can't! I just stare at them.....*sniff* It looks like a screenshot from a movie! That'd be so awesome if Zelda was made into a movie. Or...even better. An anime! =o That'd kick so much @$$.

I'd ordered the animated cartoon series on DVD a few weeks back and got it delivered to me a few days ago. SCORE! I loved that show. It's good to be able to watch it again! The Zelda games... as a movie... an anime! Now that's a long time coming, don'tcha think so? I know that I would pay to see such things. Why has it not happened already, dangit!? Well, at least there's doujinshi mangas out there! Need to go and look at them, I do.

Aw, maaan! I wanted to watch that cartoon SO bad! ;___; The Zelda series should've had an anime a long time ago. It's so friggin awesome! I mean, Mario had it's own movie (altho' not quite..."on track" as it should've been), so why can't Zelda? I heard rumors before about a Zelda movie in production, but I think it was just a hoax....Darn peeps. ><

Yah. I think that I couldn't get any farther to help Anju and Kafei cuz I am not able to do a certain thing in the quest just yet. I think that I have to follow Kafei somewhere that I've not been to before.
Zelda anime... it'd be so long cuz it could go from series to series. That thing would last for YEARS!
I had saved the Oracle of Seasons doujin but not the rest of them. I haven't read all of any of them, yet. >.< Keep procrastinaing, which is bad. Those mangas are SO good! I've read a little bit of both OoT and MM, but I stopped myself from finishing cuz I hadn't completed those games at that time. Must finish MM, now!

Have you helped Kafei in that...um.....death valley place? XD I forget the name of it....Well, it's after you get the keaton mask from the curiosity shop owner. I haven't played that game and beat it in so long. o___o Wish I had a better controller for my N64. Or, better yet, get a GC. X33 I played SSBM (Link and young Link) and SC2 (LINK, yo) at a friend's house and GAWD were those controls hard. Too many buttons. X_x When I played SC2 later on the PS2 that he had, I was so uncoordinated with the controller. X''D
Yah, it WOULD be long if they did follow all the series. But, knowing media these days, they'd just create a story of their own; maybe even just summing up all the Zelda games. The way I see it, the show would only be about 20 episodes. XD I don't know why, but that's what I would expect. But if it were like DBZ or Naruto, now, that would be alot of episodes. =O What's wrong with it lasting for years? X3 That would totally rock.

I've just finished playing MM for a few hours. This gigantic fish boss thing was totally kicking my bum! Then I only had less than 3 hours till the moon fell, so I had to start that dungeon over. I didn't feel like doing it all again. >.< That's the first time I've taken that long to do a dungeon. But I made progress, so that's good. Now I'll know where to go and what to do the next time...
I didn't go chase Kafei, that was the thing that I couldn't do at that point, I think. I think that I needed some kind of item to get there. Probably Epona, hmm.
Aw man, people don't seem to like the GC controller's buttons, but I love them, they're so intuitive after ya play with them for a long time! Feels better than the Playstation 2 controller to me.
Hmm, a whole new saga, animated, of the Legend of Zelda wouldn't be that bad of an idea. At least we wouldn't really know how the story would go, like with the games we'd already have played.

You had trouble with that big unfried fishstick, too? =o I HATED fighting that thing. Now, the bull thing was fun when you fought it right. x) I always hated doing the Great Bay temple over again. It was a pain in the first place. ><
The song of soaring helps lots. Once it's about...hm.....5 o'clock pm on the second day you need to wait behind the rock by Sakon's hideout. Oh! I remember the name of the valley now: Ikana canyon. XD I'd wait until you make it past the cyclops guy first. The race with Epona that you need to do first is a b*tch.
Yeah, I like the controller, I'm just not used to so many darn buttons. >D I freaking LOVE the Playstation controller. It's PERFECT.
Yeah, that wouldn't be bad. But one thing, tho'....Shigeru Miyamoto must do the story. =O He's the one who did the story for all the other ones, so why not a plot for an anime before he dies? =3

Oh wow, that sidequest was sooooo hard, I tried to do it over and over again till my eyes bled @_@;;;;
But really, it was my favorite, so it was easy for me to not get bored of doing it over and over again. They're suuuuuch a cute couple!!! Can you pleeeeease draw them together???
Oh and the picture is really emotional, I love it~ It's neat, with minimal detail, you can tell where she is, hehe~ Yay~~~

Anju and Kafei? I was going to draw Kafei too, but I didn't know where to fit him or how to draw him in there with her.
I was thinkigng that she could have been thinking about him and he'd appear in a thought bubble, but I haven't seen grown up Kafei and it wouldn't make sense for her to think about Kafei being a little boy since she hasn't seen him that way.
But I could give it another try later, yep.

Ooo, thank you, sis! I was trying to capture that essense of Anju that made me like her, it coulda been her smile or her giggling but I chose the worry face for some reason. Glad it came out okay looking and it was fuuun to do, that was the best part of making this, it was fun.

So I was thinking that because of her personality and stuff, it's kinda weird of me to like her when there were more important characters in the game to get involved with. Awww! You know, MM doesn't get enough loving. I think you just tipped the scales in its favor just a bit. Really captured Anju's personality, how she would've been had the character models had more emotions. I can just see her staring at the door, absolutely sick with worry, wishing that Kafei would be the next to walk in but ultimately crushed when just another customer comes in asking for a room for the celebration. The yearly festival that she had been looking forward to now has a dark shadow of anxiety about it since the love of her life has disappeared. Oh, wait. I can see it because you drew it. See that? Whoooooa! Yah, I guess that she could be watching the inn's door anxiously for Kafei to burst into the room to see her. I didn't think much about stuffs like that when I drew her. Nooow the picture has sadness to it that's not just in her eyes, it's a sadness that the players who've gotten involved with her story can feel, too. I'm no good with giving stories to art, I downright suck at it.

There's so much to like about Majora's Mask. So far I haven't had one negative thing to complain about. I used to hate the save system, but that was whenever my game would freeze and not let me save, thus making me lose data. But that doesn't happen now.

Luckily I never had that problem or I would've gone insane, I think. But yeah, it's such a fun game! I love the interaction, all the mask quests, I do love the time limit and scheduling. It was so much fun. I think I want to play again now haha

I like their story a lot, too. Also Romani and Cremia's too, tho theirs is much shorter by comparison I thought that they were equally engrossing. Man, I haven't had this much fun playing a game and feeling like really being in it since... NES Zelda games, probably!
